Be or not to be

Another stranger inspired me today. Her name was french but she was from here. She runs the cafe where I sat down for “the moment of me”. She was tiny, beautiful and very charismatic lady. She straight away has noticed the book I was reading – The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. We start to chat about life and about concept of being.

It’s funny how people cross your path when you’re looking for an answer.  I came to huge realisation today just before I met her. On an intellectual level I understand the concept of being, but in reality I have no clue how to do it. If your whole life you were restricted by time, schedules , places to be, things to do how can you just remove yourself from that with ease and no harm to your being? How can you just let yourself be, sit with yourself, sit with your thoughts and just be? It’s hard. It feels strange. It feels very unfamiliar.

Her mind was business orientated but her spirituality shine through. She suggested to read all his books and she call me “my friend”. You can call it the perfect customer service but I would say it’s San Francisco humanity. It is like a breath of fresh air to be here and meet all these people. Concept of being is so natural to them like need to breathe for me. You don’t question that. You don’t think about it. You just do it. That’s how citizens of San Francisco run their lives. It’s like they have never forgotten why we are here, and what the life is about. It’s so inspiring that I feel overwhelmed at the moment.

So overwhelmed that only nature suit this post. More pictures from my day with an ocean…
